Horse Training
Our Mission
Our mission in training is to provide each horse with a strong foundation of respect and discipline. Respect is built by the trainers being strong leaders. Horses need leadership, if they can’t find a leader they become one. This is where people run into trouble with their horse, because the horse did not learn to follow the rider as the leader. Discipline is created by consistency and diversity. By training each horse with a structured program their discipline for training will improve. Having diversity with the exercises will keep them engaged and attentive to the rider. This ensures that the horse becomes safe and responsive. In our program we put every horse through many exercises that are designed to build confidence in themselves and the rider. We teach the importance of being soft and supple. Overcoming common fears (loud noises, tarps, water, trailers, etc.), being mindful and conscious of the riders cues/directions. Our goal for each horse is first and foremost safety, for both horse and rider. Our training and daily life with the horse puts their safety first. The training teaches them to be safe and then fancy. A fancy horse is not good if it’s not safe. Placing the well-being of horse and rider at the top allows everything else to fall into place properly. An injured rider cannot enjoy the horse or perform with it, an injured horse cannot be enjoyed by a rider or perform it’s competition/job.

Our Method
Our method is crafted from multiple trainers. We placed together the methods of world renown trainers such as Clinton Anderson, Warwick Schiller and Doug Mills to name a few. These trainers are the best, so we know that by using what they have learnt in their lives, we can provide high quality training for you and your horse. We understand that each horse is it's own individual. This means that not every method will work, so we are always adapting to each horses needs. We perform a lot of exercises that promote horses being soft, respectful, and obedient. Safety is at the top of the training program, with this being a priority we focus on a lot of desensitizing and ground work. I believe that the amount a horse bucks is directly correlated to the quality of ground work done.
